Apprentice advice at Old Market

Tuesday 1 September 2015 3.26pm

Hoople recently attended the Old Market in Hereford to offer advice on apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programmes to school leavers and their families.

Timed to coincide with GCSE results day, Hoople’s advisers were able to help school leavers who were uncertain about which step next to take along their career paths.

Hoople’s Training and Education Service Manager, Roger Clarke, commented: “GCSE results day is always a stressful and emotional time for students and their families. It can be a day of celebration and joy, or of disappointment and worry for the future.

“Whatever results these young people achieve, there will be an apprenticeship programme to suit them. Our drop-in advice stand at the Old Market provided an ideal way for them to find out more, particularly about the apprenticeship programmes offered by Hoople in Childcare, Health and Social Care, Business Administration, Customer Service and Dental Nursing, as well as our Traineeship and Study Programmes.”
