Open evening at Hoople's new Training Centre

Wednesday 4 May 2016 1.28pm

Hoople’s Training and Education team recently welcomed guests to its new training centre with a ‘bubbly and canapés’ networking event. The evening also featured a selection of free seminars and workshops on various aspects of Hoople’s work.

Churchill House, HerefordThe event saw guests from many Herefordshire-based businesses enjoying a tour of the premises, to which Hoople moved its training operations in the autumn of 2015. Following refurbishment and redecoration, the centre (which is a Grade 2 listed building) is now ‘fit-for-purpose’ and offers comfortable, characterful accommodation for Hoople’s range of training programmes.

At the open evening, guests were invited to take part in a quiz about aspects of the building and Hoople’s services. The eventual joint winners were Matt Gillie, Director, and Lesley Grimmer, Registered Manager, at Right at Home. They were awarded a bottle of prosecco and a voucher against the cost of a Hoople training programme, worth up to £75.

Roger Clarke, Training and Education Service Manager at Hoople, says: “It was a pleasure to welcome local businesses to view our new premises. We are very proud of what we’ve achieved so far, and are looking forward to further developments – including improved parking facilities for visitors and course attendees.”
