Hoople first in Herefordshire to achieve Skills for Care accreditation

Wednesday 22 June 2016 1.15pm

Hoople Training and Education is pleased to announce that, following a rigorous vetting and inspection process, it has been ratified and endorsed as a Recognised Skills for Care Provider.

The Skills for Care endorsement framework is a mark of quality and is only given to organisations that provide the best learning and development in the adult social care sector. Hoople is the first organisation in Herefordshire to receive such accreditation.

Ali Chambers, Senior Manager (Workplace Learning and Support Services) at Hoople says: “We are thrilled to become a Skills for Care Recognised Provider and to be the first training provider in Herefordshire to be confirmed as such. The accreditation demonstrates that our training programmes are of the highest quality and provides customers with independent reassurance that if they come to us, they will receive the best possible product quality.”

The accreditation is valid until June 2017, at which time Hoople hope to apply to become a Skills for Care Centre of Excellence. Organisations can only apply to become a Centre of Excellence once they have been accredited as Recognised Provider. Becoming a Centre of Excellence demonstrates, amongst other things, exemplary commitment to meeting the needs of learners.
