H3 (Hub, Home, Hospital) Teaching Team provides education to students of all Key Stages who are unable to attend mainstream school for medical or mental health reasons. We teach in a variety of locations which are predominately The Hub, a child’s home or on the hospital ward. We teach from 1:1 to small groups and need to be flexible and responsive to the children we are teaching.
Our role is to support young people who are unable to attend mainstream and to reintegrate them back into school or to move them on to a different setting. All pupils attending H3 have been referred by their Consultant Paediatrician or Children & Adult Mental Health Services. The Centre works to ensure that every student is enabled to achieve the best possible outcomes, regardless of health, learning needs or disadvantage.
H3 is part of Herefordshire Pupil Referral Centre (HPRS). HPRS is made up of three centres; St David’s (KS4 PRU), The Aconbury (KS3 PRU) and H3 (All through medical PRU). Each of the three centres has its own Head of Centre each of whom have strategic lead for one or more whole service responsibilities.

We teach children from Primary to Secondary with the full spectrum of abilities and special educational and medical needs, so we are looking for a flexible, experienced teacher, who can adapt quickly to changing situations.
We need a dynamic and creative teacher who will ensure an enriching educational experience for our pupils.
