Kingstone High School is seeking a SEN TA to work both 1:1 and to provide in-class support for a pupil with an EHCP

Experience of working with students with SEN is desirable but full training will be given for the right candidate.  The role involves supporting the pupil to actively participate in lessons, and well as providing small group and 1:1 intervention lessons.    A good standard of literacy and numeracy is required for this post.

We are looking for a person who ideally:

  • Has the ability to use their initiative and ensure the child’s needs are met inclusively.
  • Is a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has a willingness to attend training in order to best meet the child’s individual needs
