An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced and friendly individual to join us at the Steiner Academy Hereford.
You will be working alongside a professional and ambitious team and will provide organised and effective front of house and receptionist support. You will ensure an effective and personable service is provided at all times. This role covers a variety of duties including, answering the telephone, taking messages and updating staff accordingly, dealing with parent queries, receiving permission slips, cheques, etc., overseeing registration and monitoring attendance levels, dealing with first aid, managing pupil medical information and you will also support the role of EVC, Educational Visits Coordinator.
You must have the ability to deal with a variety of people and situations (both personally and on the telephone) and have a flexible approach to work. You will need to be a team player who is enthusiastic and willing to contribute positively to the success of SAH. You will need to be articulate with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ideally you will have a first aid qualification, advanced IT skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, data entry and e-mail programs. Experience of working with SIMS software and experience in a school office is highly preferred. Normal daily working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
