Changes within our school have created an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Class One Teacher to join us at this very exciting stage of development.

If you have the professionalism, passion and experience to support us in our aim; the ability to balance holistic child development with an appropriate academic challenge and the desire to work in a nourishing and beautiful environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Candidates must be graduates and have either a Steiner Waldorf teaching qualification or QTS – ideally both.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • is an excellent practitioner with enthusiasm and inspirational teaching techniques to help pupils attain competency in their own abilities;
  • is highly motivated and resourceful in supporting holistic child development in thought provoking lessons which capture pupil’s imagination and develop a love of learning;
  • has a vision for achieving excellence and an absolute belief in the potential of all children;
  • has the energy and enthusiasm to realise this vision;
  • can work effectively as a team member;
  • has the ability to motivate and engage pupils with their learning.

We can offer you:

  • a competitive salary;
  • a hardworking, happy and dedicated school team;
  • support for your professional development;
  • membership to our private healthcare scheme.

Application forms and further details on this vacancy are available from Helen Gough at the Steiner Academy Hereford to whom completed forms should be returned. This is an open advertisement, we have not set a closing date.  Applications will be evaluated when received and interviews plus appointment will take place when we have a suitable candidate.  We would advise that you do not delay in submitting your application. CV’s will not be accepted.
