After School Club Assistant: ​

12-6pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Rate of Pay: Dependent upon qualifications and experience

Start Date: w/c 24th February 2020

A role has arisen at our thriving childcare setting due to maternity leave. We are looking for an experienced, Level 3 Practitioner to cover hours at our After School Club. This role will involve collecting children from school, setting up and supervising play experiences both indoors and outdoors, preparing and serving snacks, joining in play, taking bookings, engaging with parents and cleaning up at the end of the session. All applicants must hold at least a relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above plus previous experience of working at an Early Years setting. We'd like to employ someone fun, enthusiastic and able to use their own initiative. Applicants will have an outstanding knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), play and child development and demonstrate this in practice. A sound understanding of safeguarding is essential. Applicants are required to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written enabling them to engage effectively with other staff, parents and professionals. Offers will be made subject to a DBS Check at Enhanced Level and two satisfactory references. All positions are subject to a 6 month probationary period.
