Ledbury Town Council is seeking to appoint an Accounts/Burial Clerk to support the Town Clerk(RFO) in managing the Council’s accounts workflow. 

Duties will include maintaining the Council’s accounts on RBS Omega accounts package (training will be given), preparing and providing accounting reports for submission to council meetings, payment of invoices and preparation of invoices for council services, and to support the Deputy Clerk in all aspects of cemetery administration to ensure the smooth operation of the cemetery and associated services.

AAT or ACCA qualification and Knowledge of Local Government Finance and Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) would be beneficial.

The post is 30 hours a week with a salary grade SCP 13-17 (£22,627-£24,491 pro-rata) with membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
