is looking for a Projects Co-Ordinator and Leader.
We are a unique, well-established, registered charity providing valued support and opportunities for children and young people with a disability.
We run Saturday and Summer Holiday Activity Sessions throughout the County and Evening Youth Clubs in Hereford and Leominster for our young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide stimulating, creative and educational opportunities for service users across a variety of settings, ensuring the Safety and well-being of all those attending and participating in the activities.
Together with the Connect Leaders, you will encourage involvement and consultation with children and families in planning, delivering and evaluating services, responding to suggestions and comments to ensure this feedback is incorporated into future events.
You will need to ensure compliance to OFSTED and EYFS regulations and providing documentation to office colleagues.
You will need to be both organised and dynamic to fulfil this multifaceted position, hold a NVQ 3 or above (or equivalent) in play-work, childcare and education or related discipline, with previous experience of supervising others.
We offer an enhanced DBS check, high quality training and the chance to develop many valuable transferable skills. Previous experience of working with young people, including those with additional needs is essential. Does this sound like you?
The hours for the post are 28 per week, which during term time will require Saturday working. The salary is £18,250.
