Vennture is a charity based in Hereford. We are committed to working with people when they’re vulnerable, giving meaning to ‘The Power of Jesus’ Love in the local area.

Are you inspired by the work that Vennture does? Are you motivated to bring your skills to support the organisation and to make a difference?

Following our acquisition and move to new premises, Vennture has an exciting opportunity for a new post to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of Vennture property. You will be required to ensure that the fabric of our property is maintained in a pristine condition, both inside and outside and to further ensure that the environment is a safe, pleasant and comfortable space.

We are looking for a practical, reliable, and hard-working individual who has experience of working or volunteering in a service setting and a knowledge of garden routines and general maintenance. You will be able to forge strong relationships and act as a welcoming presence within Vennture, always adopting a flexible and can-do approach. Good written and verbal skills are required, together with a working knowledge of using e mail, calendars and maintaining work schedules.

Vennture works with people of all faiths, and none. Our employees and volunteers are drawn from all sectors of society. Regardless, Christian vision, ethos and principles underpin the way Vennture operates, and it is expected that the successful applicant will have empathy with and be able to embrace our Venn values of Faith, Love and Endeavour.  They will connect to our sense of purpose and vision and be able to integrate swiftly and successfully into our hard working and friendly team and enjoy being part of a challenging and ground-breaking initiative.

An application form is available to download from our website or can be requested by e mailing julia.over@vennture.org.uk

Full details of the role are contained in the job description which can also be viewed on the website.

The closing date for applications for this post is Wednesday October 6 at 5 pm and interviews are scheduled for w/c October 11.
