Aylestone School is a co-educational 11-16 school, located in the picturesque Cathedral City of Hereford, adjacent to the Herefordshire Colleges' campus for Further Education, and 10 minutes’ walk from the City railway station.

Withington Primary school is a small, rural school with under 80 pupils and is a few miles into the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Broadlands Primary school is adjacent to Aylestone School and has around 170 students.

10 hours per week (on average) full year for site specific role

Plus 5 or 10 Hours per week minibus driving term time only (38 weeks)

Grade 05HC – £7,548 to £8,333 per annum for 10 hours per week full year plus 5 hours per week term time only

An exciting opportunity exists to recruit a suitably skilled Site Manager with excellent hands on property management skills to share the duties and responsibilities of the current site management team. This post requires initiative, flexibility, patience and the ability to react to unexpected demands and work under pressure. You will undertake site management requirements for three schools and directly support the Federation Bursar in the safe administration of the schools. We would like to hear from you if:-

  • you have previous experience of working in an education environment.

  • you have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to maintaining and improving the sites for the safety and benefit of the children, staff and visitors.

  • you have a sense of humour and high expectations of pupil behaviour.

  • you are flexible, accommodating and a team player.


To supplement this role we also require you to undertake a regular minibus driving role to transport students to and from school on a daily basis. The hours are approximately 5 per week for either the morning or afternoon trip, or 10 hours for both, term-time only, but a degree of flexibility would be expected.

The successful candidate will hold a D1 Licence and will be expected to undertake the MIDAS assessment.
