Aylestone School is a co-educational 11-16 school, located in the picturesque Cathedral City of Hereford, adjacent to the Herefordshire Colleges' campus for Further Education, and 10 minutes walk from the City railway station.

Thank you for taking an interest in our school. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic, creative teacher and outstanding leader to join our school as Head of Faculty. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring leader with a real passion for technology and art and its related subjects in Key Stage 3 and 4.
We are looking for a leader who has a clear commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils of all abilities. We are looking for an inspirational and innovative leader who believes in inspiring our students to develop a love of technology and art, and who will be committed to improving teaching and learning across the department. In particular we are looking for someone to drive outcomes in all technology and art subjects.
Applications are invited from outstanding classroom practitioners with a proven record of motivating pupils to achieve success. Any of the recognised technology specialisms will be considered. The successful applicant will have a record of delivering consistently good to outstanding lessons and have the ability to raise standards of teaching and learning across the faculty. Additionally, they should be able to contribute to, organise, develop and deliver schemes of work which help promote engagement, excellence, and independent thought.
The Governing Body are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service and additional recruitment checks.
