Contract:         Permanent variable 35 hours per week max between 7.45am – 5.30pm

                       

Our Lady’s is a one-form entry Catholic primary school that sits in the southern side of the city of Hereford The Governors would like to appoint an outstanding early year’s practitioner to work closely with the Nursery Manager to enable the excellent care, educational and emotional support for our children and families.

 

This position involves deputising for the Nursery Manager and assuming the managerial role in their absence. As the Nursery Supervisor you will provide professional leadership and management of the nursery team and deliver the highest standards of care and education. Appointment at this stage will enable the successful candidate to contribute to planning how the nursery will operate, develop the nursery team and promote the nursery ready for opening on the 1^st November, 2021. We are planning to open all year round providing wrap around care so we are looking for staff who are able to fulfil this year round position.

 

 

This person will need to:

 

• Have experience in an early years setting, preferably as a room leader or other supervisory role

• Have enthusiasm, experience and a sense of humour to engage our children in exciting and relevant early years learning experiences both indoors and outdoors.

• Oversee all planning, assessments and online learning journeys and have an excellent knowledge of the outcomes for the EYFS curriculum and Development Matters.

• Have a minimum Level 3 Certification within childcare

• A sound knowledge of safeguarding practice

• Uphold the Christian ethos of our school.
