This is an exciting time for our school and a perfect opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic and motivated Pre-School Leader to contribute to establishing our brand new school pre-school setting.

 

We are seeking to appoint an individual who is passionate about early childhood development and has the vision and values to work within an Early Years team that strives to ensure our pre-school children are in the best possible place to start school. At Our Lady’s we very much value our youngest children and want to invest in this person and offer them the opportunity for further career development. The successful candidate does not have to be Catholic although you do have to uphold our Christian ethos.

 

Governors are making a significant investment into this exciting new early years provision and investing in both indoor and outdoor environment to ensure that our children develop in a safe environment that supports their wellbeing, social skills and increased personal independence.

 

The successful candidate will:

• Be an outstanding and creative Early Years practitioner with high expectations of themselves and others

• Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and assessment

• Be able to engage and enable children to develop their knowledge, skill and understanding

• Have the ability to lead a team effectively

• Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development

• Be committed to working in partnership with parents to support the learning of all pupils.
