On behalf of the governing body of St Mary’s C of E Primary School, Hoople are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to support children primarily in Key Stage 1 and contribute to classroom practice. We would like to hear from you if:



  • you have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children

  • you have experience of working with children in some capacity

  • you have excellent communication skills

  • you have a sense of humour, and the ability to inject fun into learning

  • you have high expectations of pupil behaviour

  • you are flexible, accommodating and a team player



Whilst Teaching Assistant experience and qualifications are desirable, they are not essential. We are happy to hear from those with experience of working with children and who have a passion for self-development and learning new skills. As this role will be primarily based within our Reception class, Early Years experience or training is particularly advantageous.
