The River Wye Federation is a successful federation of two Church of England Primary Schools: children thrive, are happy and achieve well; staff are accomplished, enthusiastic and committed; the schools collaborate extensively and very effectively.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced upper KS2 teacher for, in the first instance, Whitchurch CE Primary School. We are seeking an outstanding and committed practitioner, who is passionate for promoting high standards in English and maths and most importantly has a desire for delivering our ‘rich curriculum that is unique to our federation’. The chosen candidate will also be able to contribute to the ethos, high expectations and Christian values of the schools.

We offer:

  • An enthusiastic and creative school environment;

  • A warm, friendly atmosphere where everyone is valued and cared for;

  • An experienced and supportive team;

  • An exciting opportunity for career development;

  • Excellent behaviour and children who love to learn.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a dynamic professional who shares the federation’s vision for a thriving and collaborative learning community;

  • Be committed to raising standards for all children;

  • Have a good sense of humour;

  • Be able to deliver our ‘rich, unique curriculum’

  • Have an up-to-date understanding of mastery in maths;

  • Have some knowledge of ‘Talk4Writing’.

If you share our desire to achieve greater success and are passionate about the importance of learning, we would love to hear from you.

We welcome applications from ECTs and main scale teachers

Our schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form.
