Start date: as soon as possible

Grade: 04HPL

25 hours per week– term-time only (38 weeks of the year)

Annual salary £10,689.47 - £11,121.38 per annum

Permanent variable contract
(permanent variable range 25-30 hours per week, hours to be discussed at interview)
Hours may include 8:00am start times and one 5:15pm finish.

On behalf of the governors of Weston-under-Penyard Primary School, Hoople are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant SEN Level 1 to work with our growing team of staff and children.  The chosen candidate will also be able to contribute to the ethos, high expectations and Christian values of the school. Weston-under-Penyard is a welcoming and expanding Primary School judged ‘Good’ by OFSTED

 

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

 

• Have experience of working with EYFS/KS1 children
• Work directly with a child with ASD for approximately half the week
• Work directly with other children to provide feedback and support
• Liaise with the class teacher responsible for the progress of individual children
• Be able to take the initiative within a small team
• Have experience of working with children across the primary range including SEND.
• Have excellent personal English and maths skills
