Michaelchurch Escley Primary and Pre School is a dynamic, rural school proud of its supportive ethos and its beautiful surroundings in the foothills of the Black Mountains. Children are encouraged to become happy and self-confident, and to achieve their full potential. 

Our governor run preschool is flourishing and we are looking to recruit a kind, enthusiastic and patient person to work mainly with the preschool children.  

We would like to hear from you if:-

• You hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Childcare or equivalent
• You have previous experience of working with young children
• You have high standards of care
• You have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children
• You have a love of the outdoors
• You can show initiative and creativity which encourages the children's all round development.

Michaelchurch Escley Primary and Pre School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
