Bredenbury Primary School is part of the Three Counties Academy Trust (TCAT) which includes Queen Elizabeth High School and three local Primary schools.
Bredenbury Primary is a small, 3 class school that prides itself on its nurturing approach and ‘family feel’. Serving the rural community of Bredenbury, set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside and benefiting from a healthy and attractive environment, our school is warm and friendly with a strong community ethos. We are a fully inclusive school with happy and enthusiastic children, highly motivated staff and a supportive Governing Body.
Bredenbury Primary wish to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach class 1, a small class of reception, year 1 and year 2 pupils. We would like to hear from you if: -
- you are an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record in raising standards
- you have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children
- you have a sense of humour, and the ability to inject fun into learning
- you have high expectations of pupil behaviour
- you are flexible, accommodating and a team player
- you are able to lead, inspire and motivate staff and children
- you have positive relationships with parents
Applications are welcomed from both experienced Teachers and ECTs. Visits to the school, prior to application forms being completed, are highly desirable and encouraged.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
