Do you love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors? Fairfield High School is looking for reliable, caring individuals to help look after our wonderful range of animals, including goats, pigs and alpacas!
Animal welfare is our top priority, and we’re looking for people who can help provide care for our animals during weekends and school holidays. 
The role is straightforward and rewarding, involving:

•    Checking on the animals
•    Feeding them
•    Replenishing fresh water
•    Making sure they are happy, healthy and well cared for

Weekend commitment:
Typically just 1–2 hours each day on Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility around the time you visit.

School holidays:
We also need cover throughout the Fairfield High School holidays, with daily visits required with flexibility to work round you. 

No previous experience is necessary — full training will be provided.

Fairfield High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
