The successful candidate will be a creative ICT/IMedia practitioner; an ability to teach another subject would be preferable but not essential. You must be able to inspire and enthuse students, have an absolute belief in the limitless potential of young people and be committed to ensuring the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Teach ICT curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Inspire students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through ICT projects and activities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons that integrate the latest technological tools
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the curriculum
  • Support students in preparing for BTEC IMedia

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, software applications, and hardware systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to giving students the best possible opportunities in life
