Through collaboration, shared expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement, we work together to create opportunities, raise aspirations and achieve the very best outcomes for our children. HMFA currently comprises four primary schools across the Hereford area with a further 3 schools who are federated with us.

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Support Assistant to provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to our CEO and wider executive team.

Make a difference across our Trust

This is a pivotal role within our small and ambitious Multi-Academy Trust. Working closely with the CEO, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Trust by managing priorities, coordinating communications, organising meetings, and providing professional support across a range of strategic projects.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, discreet and able to build positive relationships with colleagues, trustees, governors, school leaders and external partners.  This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of Trust leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•    Manage the CEO's diary, correspondence and executive priorities.
•    Coordinate meetings, governance activities and Trust events.
•    Assist with project management and Trust improvement initiatives.
•    Prepare professional reports, presentations and communications.
•    Track actions, projects and key Trust priorities.
•    Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Trust.
•    Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
•    Lead the Admin team across the Trust including appraisals

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
•    Has excellent organisational and time-management skills.
•    Can manage multiple priorities and work independently.
•    Demonstrates absolute discretion and confidentiality.
•    Has outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
•    Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office and digital systems.
•    Has experience of providing executive, PA or senior administrative support.
•    Is proactive, adaptable and solution focused.
•    Shares our commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
•    Has a full driving licence and use of their own vehicle

What We Offer
•    The opportunity to work closely with Trust leaders and make a real impact.
•    A supportive and collaborative team environment.
•    Local Government Scheme Pension
•    Professional development opportunities.
•    Flexible working arrangements where operationally possible.
•    A role that offers variety, challenge and the opportunity to contribute to strategic improvement across our schools.

Herefordshire Marches Federation of Academies is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
