The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant initially within a Key Stage 2 class. This role also incorporates some lunchtime cover.
Holmer C E Academy invites applications for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are seeking a caring individual who has a genuine passion for education and possesses the skills to foster a nurturing learning environment for our pupils.
The role:
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant who:
- Enjoys working with children and has high expectations for their behaviour, and personal development.
- Is a strong communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- The post holder will assist the classroom teacher and work with small groups of children in Year 5 initially, to support their learning needs.
- Values the Christian ethos of our academy and fosters a caring and supportive environment
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn.
- Has a good understanding of the Literacy and Mathematics curriculum
- will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that the needs of all children are met effectively.
