Kingstone High School is looking for a dedicated, inspiring and skilled classroom practitioner to join our Science Faculty. This is an outstanding opportunity for a teacher who is eager for a positive and rewarding teaching post. You will be able to teach across the science subject range, confident with a wide range of teaching and learning styles and with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
You will be joining a Science Faculty of six staff within a supportive school staff team committed to promoting enjoyment and high achievement for all our students. We encourage extra-curricular trips and activities that support the cultural growth of our students.
Kingstone High School has an extensive site and superb facilities, situated in the Golden Valley village of Kingstone, south of the cathedral city of Hereford. We welcome applications from both ECTs (full induction and mentoring package provided for ECTs) as well as more experienced colleagues. Therefore, if you are interested in working in a friendly family-oriented school and would like to join a supportive and enthusiastic staff team we would like to hear from you.
In addition to the main teaching role, there is an opportunity for candidates to apply for an additional responsibility as Head of Year (TLR2B), for which a full job description is provided. Applicants who wish to be considered for both the teaching position and the Head of Year role should include a clearly identified additional section within their letter of application outlining their suitability for this responsibility. Applications are warmly welcomed from those who wish to be considered for the teaching role only, without the additional responsibility.
In return, we offer:

• A working environment focused on Teaching and Learning and progress for all students
• The opportunity to work in a staff team where your skills, enthusiasm and hard work will be appreciated
• A school where staff wellbeing is a priority
Kingstone Academy Trust reserves the right to withdraw this advert prior to the closing date should a successful candidate be identified.
