Kingstone High School requires an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team.
Your main role will involve working with pupils to help them meet their targets, promoting pupils’ independence and developing their confidence and self-esteem.
The TA will complement the professional work of the teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities, for individuals. It will involve monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils achievement, progress and development.
Excellent numeracy/literacy skills equivalent to level 2 in English and Maths, and I.C.T. skills sufficient to advance pupils' learning are essential for this positions.
