Job details
Kingstone & Thruxton Primary School is seeking an outstanding teacher. The successful applicant will teach Year 4 for the remainder of this academic year. In the Summer Term we will decide on which year group Teachers will be teaching in September. The successful candidate will of course be involved in these conversations but would not necessarily be teaching Year 4 in September.
The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and ambitious team, in a school that strives for excellent standards and aims to produce confident, self-assured and successful young people. We value and develop the whole child and do everything we can to ensure every single child gets the best possible start.
You will be a self-motivated classroom practitioner with excellent professional standards, able to inspire our children and to raise aspirations and achievement through high quality learning experiences. Able to demonstrate a variety of behaviour management strategies and teaching and learning styles, you will be well organised, and have high expectations of achievement. Applicants should have a good understanding and knowledge of Key Stage 2.
If you would like to teach children that are happy and eager to learn, and join a supportive and enthusiastic team of teachers, we would like to hear from you.
Kingstone Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
