About this role
We are now looking for a motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join us in September supporting a wonderful Y6 child with additional learning needs. You’ll be a vital part of our nurturing and supportive school community, helping the child to attend school safely, confidently, and happily. From providing emotional support to assisting with daily routines and learning activities, your role will be to help them thrive while promoting independence and building self-confidence in readiness for the transition into the next chapter of their educational journey.

Experience working with children in education or other settings is desirable, however if you have the right qualities, we can provide the training and support you need.
Main responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to help the child to access learning and school activities.
- Assist with building independence.
- Support the child’s physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
