The Opportunity
St. Peter’s Primary are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing school who will provide PPA cover as required for all key stages. This is a key role for someone who loves working with young children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and excels when leading learning.
What We’re Looking For
As our HLTA, you will:
• Confidently cover whole-class lessons across EYFS and KS2 & KS3
• Lead and support our team of Teaching Assistants, modelling excellent practice
• Deliver and help co-ordinate high-quality interventions that help pupils make strong progress
• Build warm, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
We are looking for someone who:
• Has HLTA status or equivalent experience
• Is calm, organised, and able to think on their feet
• Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love of early learning
• Can maintain high expectations while nurturing every child’s confidence
• Enjoys being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team
