Job details
An exciting opportunity to play a key part in the success of our students by coordinating the smooth running of external and internal examinations
Whitecross Hereford is seeking to appoint an Examinations Officer to cover for the maternity leave of the current post holder. It is anticipated that this will be for 12 months.
We are looking for a person who is interested in joining a great school where team work and collaboration lie at the heart of our work to provide an outstanding education for our students.
Our resources are some of the best around but it is our people who make our school what it is. If you want to join a staff committed to working together to be the best, supported by a comprehensive leadership and development programme, then we want to hear from you.
Working alongside senior leaders as part of the admin team, the postholder will be responsible for the planning, administration and security of both internal and external examinations.
Our students are fantastic; the school is popular and thriving and our belief in the potential of every child underpins everything we do.
We want our students to be supported by people who demonstrate the highest professional standards and who share our passion to provide the best possible education for our students. The successful candidate will be organised, methodical, a great communicator and able to build strong relationships with students, families, staff and external agencies.
The best way to get a feel for the school is to come and see us in action. Do contact my PA, Claire McDougall, in the first instance.
Whitecross is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of every child. The advertised post involves contact with children and therefore involves regulated activity with children. All such posts will be subject to enhanced safeguarding checks. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
The school will undertake online checks of shortlisted candidates in accordance with our Privacy Notice for Applicants which is include in our recruitment pack.
Successful candidates will be required to follow our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and will also be required to sign a self-disclosure statement. Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy can be found on our website.
