ECHO is a charity working with people with learning and physical disabilities and people with mental health issues in Herefordshire. ECHO runs 28 different activities each week in community settings across Herefordshire. ECHO is committed to providing services that promote choice, rights and independence for disabled people in Herefordshire.

We are seeking to recruit a Support Worker to work at The Priory Centre, Leominster

The Priory Centre provides day activities to adults with disabilities and or mental health issues. You will be part of a team to support a group of Participants, although your role may involve supporting an individual.

You will be involved in the planning and delivery of sessions to ensure that a range of valued activities are provided for our participants, this would include activities and events at our centre and in the local community.   

The role would involve providing practical support to our participants to ensure they are welcomed, feel safe and valued. You will help to develop their skills and try new activities to build confidence.  You may need to give assistance with personal care or medication.

You will be involved in keeping good records, communicating effectively, and sharing information as appropriate whilst maintaining confidentiality and data protection requirements in line with ECHO policies.
