We are looking for individuals to work within our dual-registered home in Hereford.

You will forge meaningful and positive relationships with the young people and their families and work closely with your team and all the other professionals involved in each young person’s life. You will work within the Therapeutic Model used within each home, and work alongside the company therapists to ensure each young person is able to thrive and make real change in their lives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for by Family Care Group
  • To attend and contribute to your supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
  • To represent the company when called upon to do so by exhibiting the highest professional standards.
  • To participate in training programmes and individual training courses
  • Undertaking “sleep-in” duties in accordance with the home’s Rota
  • To maintain all records in accordance with company policy, regulations, and statutory requirements

You:

  • Must hold a current valid full driving licence
  • Previous Residential Childcare experience is essential
  • Possessing a Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce is desirable
  • Be able to work on a shift/Rota basis
  • Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS certificate upon appointment
