The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to work with school staff, parents, students and outside agencies initially within our Student Services Department.
Our school is a vibrant place to work with enthusiastic students who are keen to learn and engage actively in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. We offer a school which is welcoming, with colleagues who are enthusiastic and committed to achieving the best for students.
The main duties of the role include:
· To undertake general administrative duties as directed by the Office Manager and School Business Manager
· Working with the Assistant Head to deliver the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
· Behaviour Management- to assist in the recording of students rewards and sanctions.
· Responsible for the allocation and management of school lockers to students.
· To cover Student Services reception on Tuesdays each week and also when required to assist the Student Services Team.
· To undertake First Aid Training to cover School First Aider on a rota basis at lunchtimes and also where required.
· Responsible for the school trips system ‘Evolve’ including sporting fixtures liaising with Trip leaders and Finance Team.
This is a key role within the organisation, and it is essential that the successful candidate has the necessary skills to undertake the role. Full training will be given. In addition to the usual administrative skills a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Experience of working with SIMS and databases would be helpful.
