The Governors and Headteacher of this school are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (SEN) Level 2 to become part of our SEND Support Team on a Fixed term Contract until the 31st August 2025.

You will work closely with Department staff helping to track and monitor the progress of students and ensure positive outcomes for all students. Teaching Assistants work in designated curriculum areas developing specialist knowledge and skills, and relationships with teaching staff.

Job Activities could include:

 

  • Activities to facilitate independent learning.
  • Support the teacher in the identification and assessment of learning needs, adapting resources and delivery as appropriate
  • Direct group activities within and away from the classroom
  • Support the teacher in the assessment, recording, and reporting of students’ progress.
  • Provide regular feedback to the teacher and, where relevant, the SENCO on the participation and progress of students.
