Broadlands Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated and passionate Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our team. We are a friendly, community focused school situated in the picturesque Cathedral City of Hereford, adjacent to Aylestone School, the Herefordshire Colleges' campus for Further Education, and 10 minutes’ walk from the city railway station.
The role will be to lead teaching and learning in our term time only nursery class. We are looking for a creative practitioner with an expert understanding of early child development who can support our children in preparation for school.
We would be interested in hearing from you if:
•
A full and relevant Early Years Level 3 qualification
•
At least 3 years’ experience working in an EYFS setting
•
Knowledge of the requirements of the EYFS curriculum and the assessment for learning cycle
•
Knowledge of how young children learn and develop
•
You are experienced with working with children with identified and specific educational needs;
•
You have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all children;
•
You have excellent communication skills;
•
You have a sense of humour and the ability to inject fun into support for learning;
•
You have high expectations of pupil behaviour and excellent behaviour management skills;
•
You are flexible, accommodating and a team player.
