Eardisley CE Primary School is a popular rural school set in an idyllic Herefordshire village. It provides children with firm foundations based on a strong Christian ethos which permeates everything that we do, striving to offer all its pupils every opportunity to live life in all its fullness.

 

Our children need someone to keep them safe and happy at lunchtimes. Could it be you? Eardisley C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a Mid-Day Supervisor to join our school lunch team, working 5 days a week from 12.00 to 1.00 pm.

 

The successful candidate must be able to make lunchtimes a positive and enjoyable experience for all our children, by supporting them with playground games and social activity, and assist in promoting a safe and happy play environment for all children. You may also be required to help with setting up, serving, supervising, clearing up and helping the children with their lunches.    

 

Applicants will need to enjoy being in the company of children, be adaptable and resourceful, and have a good sense of humour to work alongside our existing team during this period of the day. 

 

The successful applicant will:

• Be consistent and clear in their approach
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with children and staff
• Be able to enthuse and inspire children
• Be flexible, creative and able to use initiative
• Be willing to attend training as required, including safeguarding training
