Eardisley CE Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, well-motivated and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join the friendly and hardworking team. The successful candidate will be confident in supporting children with Special Educational Needs access the curriculum. They will have excellent subject knowledge, a passion for inclusivity, high expectations for all children, will support the Christian ethos of the school, and will be willing to go the extra mile.

 

 

The successful candidates will also:

  • have a good level of education (GCSE or equivalent, grade C or above in maths and English);
  • have previous experience of working with children;
  • have excellent communication skills;
  • be flexible, hardworking, resilient, reliable and a team player;
  • have experience of supporting children of all abilities within a classroom environment;
  • have high expectations of pupil behaviour, attainment and progress;
  • will have a first aid qualification, or be willing to complete one;
  • be able to use their own initiative to differentiate tasks and activities according to the needs and abilities of the children in the group;
  • have excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, parents and other professionals.
