We require a part time Student and Family Support Manager to join our team at Earl Mortimer College.

Main Purpose of the Job:

·         Working with pupils and their families to promote their overall health and welfare and develop their full potential

·         Providing emotional support to pupils

·         Empowering and enabling families through the signposting of services

·         Being able to communicate and cooperate with social workers, family support workers, multi agency staff, internal staff and families in face to face and online meetings

·         Making referrals for pupils to mental health services

·         Coordinating pupil referrals to the school nursing team

·         Taking responsibility for the Early Help caseload

·         Maintaining records and reports on the personal and social needs of pupils and presenting information to the Principal, parents and governors as required

·         Being responsible for the case load of Child in Need referrals

·         Attending TAF meetings

·         Providing effective support to the designated/deputy safeguarding lead

·         Having the capacity to undertake home visits as and when required
