We require a part time Student and Family Support Manager to join our team at Earl Mortimer College.

Main Purpose of the Job:

·         To work with pupils and their families to promote their overall health and welfare and develop their full potential

·         To provide emotional support to pupils

·         To empower and enable families through the signposting of services

·         To communicate and cooperate with social workers, family support workers, multi agency staff, internal staff and families in face to face and online meetings

·         To make referrals for pupils to mental health services

·         To coordinate pupil referrals to the school nursing team

·         To take responsibility for the Early Help caseload

·         To make records of and reports on the personal and social needs of pupils and present information to the Principal, parents and governors as required

·         To case manage Child In Need referrals

·         To attend TAF meetings

·         To provide effective support to the designated/deputy safeguarding lead
