We are seeking an inspirational, highly motivated Headteacher to lead our welcoming village school
into its next chapter.
Ewyas Harold Primary School is a warm, inclusive village school with a PAN of 140, taught across four to
five partly mixed-age classes in the beautiful Golden Valley, within easy reach of Hereford and
Abergavenny.
Our enthusiastic children and staff enjoy a rich range of learning opportunities, supported by a thriving
PTFA, strong community links and excellent parental support.
Following significant change, the school has refocused on its core values and is now increasingly stable
and popular. As a committed Values-based Education School, these values are embodied and
promoted by every adult.

opportunity to help shape the school’s future. Our on-site preschool is expected to join the school and
MAT, so experience of managing a 2–11 setting is required.
We are looking for a leader with excellent teaching, organisational and communication skills who puts
children first, supports staff, leads day-to-day operations and works effectively within the MAT. The role
will include some teaching commitment.
