We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented KS2 class teacher for our mixed Year 3-4 class on a 0.8FTE contract.
We are also seeking to appoint a SENDCo on a 0.2FTE contract.
We will consider applications from candidates interested in either role, as well as candidates interested in fulfilling both roles.
Garway Primary School is set in a beautiful location in the village of Garway in south-west Herefordshire, close to the Welsh border. Garway is set on a hillside above the River Monnow about 10 km northwest of Monmouth. It is a sparsely populated area, mainly agricultural in nature.

The successful applicant will:
· Be friendly, caring, enthusiastic and conscientious.
· Have a passion for developing the individual child through a personalised approach, alongside high expectations and a values-based ethos.
· Have experience as a SENDCo (if applying for that role), and have experience of teaching KS2 children
· Have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, planning and effective assessment for learning practices.
· Be highly committed to developing a creative curriculum within and outside of the classroom.
· Be willing to contribute to the wider life of our busy school.
