The governors of the Gateway Federation are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher initially to teach a Lower Key Stage Two Class at Gorsley Goffs Primary School. The school is situated in a rural location just a few miles east of Ross on Wye.

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience of teaching children.
• Have a passion for developing the individual child.
• Have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment for learning practices.
• Be able to offer creativity in and out of the classroom.
• Contribute to the ethos, high expectations and values of the school.
• Have the necessary skills and qualities needed to work in our friendly and enthusiastic team.
• Be able to contribute to the wider school community.

Gorsley Goffs Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
