We seek to appoint a teacher committed to inclusion and dedicated to improving the outcomes for all children with SEND.

We are in the fortunate position of being a mainstream school with a specialist resource base for children with complex communication difficulties. In September we are opening two brand new classrooms. This role is to join the team of dedicated teachers and support staff in one of our six specialist classes in our on-site Language and Communication Centre.

We are looking for someone who:

•    Is dynamic, innovative, and forward thinking
•    Is an excellent classroom practitioner with skills in teaching SEN pupils
•    Can work collaboratively with all stakeholders
•    Is creative and proactive in approach
•    Is a team player
•    Has high expectations of all pupils
•    Is organised and able to work to timescales
•    Promotes quality teaching and intervention
•    Provides a nurturing and caring environment which allows pupils to thrive
•    Liaises positively with parents, staff, Governors and outside agencies

The successful candidate will be supported in their role by fellow teachers, a large team of support staff, efficient and effective admin team, an experienced SENDCo and proactive leadership team. Regular training is provided with this roll.

We welcome the opportunity to meet you in person and give you a tour of our school.

Please contact Mrs Carol Emmett for an application pack or to arrange a visit to the school.
