HC6 (SCP 11-19) £15,447 - £17,599 - flexible working option considered
Herefordshire Pupil Referral Service (HPRS) provides education to pupils unable to attend mainstream school for various reasons. The service is currently split over three sites located within Hereford – St David’s Centre (KS4), The Aconbury Centre (KS3) and H3 (Hospital, Home, Hub Teaching Team).
HPRS provides a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment in which young people can grow as responsible, independent and self-confident learners. The service benefits from a supportive Management Committee, an effective Senior Leadership Team and a dynamic team of experienced, committed staff.
The opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Data Manager / Examinations Officer. The position will be based at St David’s Centre and will cover the complete examination process for Hereford Pupil Referral Service.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will be responsible for managing the complete examination process covering internal and external exams whilst adhering to national regulations and guidelines. This position requires someone who understands the need for flexibility. Additional hours will be required during the main exam timetable periods plus attendance during the summer holiday period to download exam results and provide analysis.
You will also be responsible for the management and co-ordinated teamwork of the Management Information System, bringing together the work of the 3 centres and producing accurate returns to the Department of Education. Your duties will include producing data reports, student annual reports and liaising with internal staff and external agencies. This post also includes general administration tasks as your workload permits. You will need to be able to prioritise workloads, be flexible, work under pressure and be a team player.
