The children, staff and governors of The Gateway Federation are seeking to recruit a Head of School for Lea Church of England Primary School with strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuing the development of our busy but always friendly school. Lea Church of England Primary School is a Voluntary Aided School. As a Church of England school, our vision ‘Everyone Counts’ underpins all that we do.
The Gateway Federation was formed in 2019 and Gorsley Goffs Primary School, Lea Church Of England Primary School and The Gateway Lodge Nursery have thrived in the years since. Both schools are popular choices for parents and are often oversubscribed.
Our pupils, their welfare, development and progress are at the centre of all that we do and we very much look forward to recruiting a Head of School who:
- Is committed to putting the needs, welfare and progress of the children and the school first
- Who can uphold and develop our Christian distinctiveness and foster a community where all can flourish
- Has a proven track record in enabling the delivery of high standards in teaching and learning, with the vision, enthusiasm and energy to help all members of our community achieve their full potential
- Has leadership and management skills which, alongside strong interpersonal skills, lead to successful and positive communication with all
- Is confident, approachable, consistent and caring in their dealings with others
