This is an ideal opportunity for somebody with the skills and enthusiasm to run our existing Breakfast Club on-site provision. We are looking for someone who will encourage and engage with our children (age range 3 to 11). They will ideally have a level 2 childcare qualification and will need to have Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding; training will be provided.
Leintwardine Endowed C of E Primary School is at the very north of Herefordshire on the border with Shropshire and Powys. We currently have 78 pupils on role. We are a small rural primary school with the desire to enable our children and staff members to reach their full potential and to let their individual light shine.
Leintwardine Endowed C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children
