KS2 PPA Teacher

Leominster Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to work in KS2 covering PPA.  This post is 0.9 FTE, fixed term for a minimum of one term starting in September 2026.

The ideal candidate will:

·           be a qualified teacher who can demonstrate a successful track record in facilitating academic development and a creative and engaging teaching style;

·             have the ability and experience of teaching KS2 groups;

·             have excellent classroom management skills;

·             be able to use their own initiative and work as part of a team;

·             be hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated.

Leominster Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE.  The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children
