Leominster Primary School is a warm, caring and inclusive ‘good’ school, who is seeking to appoint an outstanding class teacher to work with staff and Senior Leadership Team to manage the maths curriculum across the school. The role would also be to be Assistant Head for two days a week leading Years 4, 5 and 6, and is a job-share with an experienced and established phase leader. The successful candidate will join our dedicated team from January 2025. Allocated weekly time out of class will be given to fulfill both roles.
We are looking for a candidate who is:
- a qualified teacher who can demonstrate a successful track record in facilitating academic development and a creative and engaging teaching style;
- a teacher who is committed to supporting the ethos and vision of our school
- an outstanding KS1 and 2 practitioner with experience in leading maths;
- have excellent classroom management skills;
- be able to use their own initiative and work as part of a team;
- be hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated;
- must be confident and experienced in leading and managing staff
- a creative leader of curriculum development in maths
- an aspiring leader who will challenge, inspire and drive school improvement to achieve the best outcome for pupils
