Are you a friendly, hard-working, and enthusiastic teacher looking for an opportunity to join a supportive school community? Pencombe CofE Primary School is seeking a full-time KS2 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave for two terms.

Pencombe is a small, friendly, dynamic, child orientated school offering a fun learning environment for primary aged children. Pencombe CofE School is a delightful school set in beautiful surroundings in rural Herefordshire. 

You will need to be an inspirational practitioner and a supportive team player who is willing to share ideas and expertise across the school.

The successful candidate will be able to engage, motivate and support pupils, staff and parents, with enthusiasm and sensitivity.

Pencombe CE Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE.  The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
