We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and approachable professional to join our vibrant and welcoming team at Riverside Primary School.
This is a key role in school and we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude to make a difference to the outcomes of our pupils. You will need to be a team player who is able to multitask effectively, motivate others and demonstrate a commitment to achieving high standards.
The post requires a range of skills and experience:
- Ideally the postholder will possess relevant SBM qualifications and will have had experience in a similar environment or can bring high quality, transferable skills from a business environment
- Leadership and management experience in areas including Finance, HR and Health & Safety
- Experience of premises, facilities and project management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present both written and verbal information for the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors
- A clear understanding of the running of a busy school
- A genuine desire to involve yourself fully in the life of Riverside Primary School

The position is full time for 39 weeks a year (term time only plus five days to be worked during the school holidays, with additional days to be negotiated).
Riverside Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children
